Wilma Jean Lamb Alligood

Wilma Jean Lamb Alligood, 79, of Randleman passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Randolph Hospice House. She was born May 21, 1946 in Randolph County to Marco Lamb and Parthenia Fogleman Lamb.

Jean was a loving, caring wife, mother, and friend. She loved to watch westerns and talk with her friends. Jean enjoyed trips to Food Lion and making biscuits and sharing them with those she loved. She attended Russell’s Grove Baptist Church for many years and always had candy and gum ready for the children. Jean will be loved and missed by all who know her.

Jean is survived by her children; Larry Lamb of Asheboro, Barry Lamb of Franklinville, Richard Davis of Randleman, Julie Davis of Randleman; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman. Funeral services will begin Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Eddie Pugh Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Fonner officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
