William Jordan, Jr.

William Jordan, Jr., age 87, of Asheboro died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Randolph Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Mr. Jordan was a native of Randolph County and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was retired from Galey & Lord in Asheboro and attended Clearview Baptist Church. William was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jewell Francis Briles Jordan. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia "Diane" Trull of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Janica Cox and her husband Danny of Franklinville, NC, Stephanie Nobles and her husband Von of Randleman, NC; great grandchildren, Jacqueline Cox, Nicole Cox, Brianna Nobles, and Frankie Nobles; and sister, Margaret Millikan of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
