William Arthur Freeman

William "Bill" Arthur Freeman, age 80, from Charleston, SC, passed away May 28, 2022 at his home.

Bill was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Air Force for 36 years, working on C-141's and C-17's. He had integrity, intelligence and was a kind, hard working man. Bill loved his family and his country. He also taught at Trident Tech and Boeing.  Bill was a Mason, enjoyed square dancing, shag, clogging and going fishing. In addition to parents, William  and Judy Freeman Bill is preceded in death by his son, Torrey Freeman; sisters, Sandra Lou Freeman, Lela Ann White, Susan Brown and his twin brother, Warren Freeman.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sue Freeman, children: Kim (Paul) Bryant of Summerville, SC, Judy (Kirk) Hall of Savannah, GA., Bryan Kirk of Richfield and Lauren (Rob) Honeycutt of China Grove; grandchildren: Elisha (Jim) Proctor, Johnathon (Kristalle) Bryant, Christopher Freeman, Mitchell Honeycutt and Riley Honeycutt; great grandchildren: Aiden, Bryant and Robbie; sisters, Dorothy Lambe and Sarah Bennett; brother, Jesse Freeman (Katy).

The family will receive friends June 2, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 am at Luther's Lutheran Church, 4955 Richfield Rd., Richfield, NC 28137.
