Wilbert Jerome "Buddy" Hatcher

Wilbert Jerome "Buddy" Hatcher, age 74, of Randleman died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his home. Mr. Hatcher was born March 24, 1942 the son of Noah and Mary Bridges Hatcher. Jerome was a native of Bennettsville, SC and was of Baptist faith. He was formerly employed at Commonwealth in Randleman and retired from Amce-McCrary. In addition to his parents, Jerome is preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Beattie and brother, Billy Hatcher. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Gracie Brock Hatcher of the home; daughters: Belverly Jenkins of Randleman and Donna Allred of Denton; son: Jeff Hatcher of Pittsboro; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister: Blanche Deschenes of Lowell, MA. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, 2889 River Rd., Troy with Rev. Bobby Brock officiating.
