Wayne Douglas Brooks

Wayne Douglas Brooks, age 61, of Robbins passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Mr. Brooks was born October 18, 1961 in Randolph County. In his younger years, Wayne enjoyed working on VW Beetles. He was a stone mason for many years and took great pride in everything he did. Wayne loved gardening and competing with his daughter Miranda for the best garden. He loved watching racing and going fishing. Wayne dearly loved his mother, daughters, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Douglas Brooks.  He loved and missed his faithful companion, Oscar.

He is survived by his mother, Clara Maness Brooks; daughters, Miranda Brooks (Lance Lowe), Aleisha Smith (Chris); grandchildren, Mason Kinley, Nathan Lowe, Elizabeth Smith, Natalie Smith, Raleigh Smith, Jackson Lowe, Emma Lowe; sisters, Vanessa Lovette, Sheryl Nance; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the home of his daughter.  Please contact the family for the location of the service.
