Violet Ray Stalker Kirkman

Violet Ray Stalker Kirkman, 91, of Randleman passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at Hospice of Randolph surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Randleman on September 21, 1933 to Troy William Stalker and Minnie Myrtle Burrow Stalker.

Violet was a loving, caring, and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifetime member of Midway Wesleyan Church and their organist for over 77 years. Violet was devoted to her family and was known for being a great cook. A lover of family, friends, her faith, and flowers; she is loved and missed by all.

Violet is survived by her husband of over 17 years, James Cleo Kirkman of the home; son, Mark McKenzie (Debbie) of Randleman; grandson, Michael McKenzie (Cameron) of Randleman; and several nieces.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2025, from 12:00 – 12:45 PM at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd. in Randleman. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Arnold Luther officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Violet’s name to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203 or Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman, NC 27317.
