Tula McMasters Brady Schenck

May 3, 1926 - August 2, 2026

Tula McMasters Brady Schenck went home peacefully to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She lived a long and wonderful life grounded in faith, love, service and devotion to her family.

Visitation will be Friday, August 7, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Graveside service will be Saturday August 8 at 2:00PM at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 North O'Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC with Rev. Darrell Rabon officiating. Family will receive friends following service.

Tula was born in Guilford County on May 3, 1926 to the late Rev. C. C. McMasters (Charm) and Mary Alice McMasters (Big Mama). She spent many years in Christian ministry. She faithfully served by her husband's side as he pastored eight churches within the North Carolina East District of the Wesleyan Church. She served as District CYC Director (Christian Youth Crusaders) for many years and was District Director of Children's Camp for 30 plus years (now Victory Mountain Wesleyan Camp in Sophia, NC. Tula loved people and had a heartbeat for children. She was musically talented, playing the piano; organ and autoharp and singing praises to the Lord. She served the Lord with joy and invested herself in others and in Kingdom work.

100 years ....... What an accomplishment! Her family looks back at all the wonderful parts of her journey through life with pride and joy. GOD had a plan for Tula. She served enthusiastically and with purpose. HALLELUJAH WHAT A SAVIOR!

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rev. William S. Brady (1985); husband Rev. Eugene Schenck (2017); sons Farrell Brady and Thomas Schenck; infant daughter; daughter-in-law Harriet Brady and great granddaughter April Dowell.

Tula is survived by sons Billy Brady; Darrell Brady (Pat); Richard Schenck (Carol); daughter-in-law Paula Brady; sisters Mary Ruth Mills (Bill) and Faye Redding; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; adopted daughter Martha Haskins and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is especially grateful for the exceptional care and support provided by the Staff of Hospice of Randolph County and the Staff of Cross Road Retirement Community.
