Sue Pritchard

Sylvia Sue Smith Pritchard, 80, of Asheboro, passed away on  January 22, 2022.      She was born on April 19, 1941 in Randolph County to Herbert and Angeline Smith. She was a member of Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church and retired from Energizer Battery. Mrs. Pritchard enjoyed drinking Coca-Cola and eating at Hardees.  She also loved going the Myrtle and Holden beach. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pritchard was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Pritchard and son, James Rodney Rutledge.

Mrs. Pritchard is survived by her step-sons, Randy Pritchard of Rocky Mount, William E. Pritchard, Jimmy C. Pritchard; grandson, Timothy Rutledge and wife Amanda,; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alec, Rainey, Lillianna and Olivia Rutledge; sisters, Martha Caroline Honeycutt of Thomasville, Nina Smith Furr of Asheboro.      The family will receive friends Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 9:30 -10:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave. Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the Neighbor's Grove Wesleyan Church with Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
