Sue Smith Harris

Mrs. Sue Smith Harris, age 81, of Asheboro died Friday, January 24, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Harris was born March 20, 1932 int Camden, TN the daughter of Oscar Lee Smith and Mattie Irene Seawell Smith. A former teacher's assistant in Virginia Beach, VA and Washington, NC, she also worked in Asheboro at the North Carolina Zoo. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Ray Harris. She is survived by two daughters: Debra H. Sperling of Randleman, NC, Rebecca H. McPherson of Asheboro, NC, one son: David R. Harris of Broken Arrow, OK, and six grandchildren. At her request no funeral service is scheduled. Her cremated remains will be buried with her husband's in the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
