Sue Groce Glenn passed away peacefully at her home Sunday morning, February 6, 2022, with her family by her side. Sue was a native of Randleman, NC. She attended Randleman High School, graduating with Class of 1953. Sue retired from Energizer, after 16 years of service.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, J. Boyd & Eula Groce, brother Jimmy Groce (Bonnie), and her daughter n’ law, Rhena Glenn.
Sue is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill Glenn, son, David Glenn, daughter, Starla Dawn Glenn. Granddaughter, Nikki Callicutt (Jeff), and three great-granddaughter’s, Lauren, Taylor and Kathryn Callicutt. Aunt Sue was loved by many nieces and nephews. Snuggles, her 20 year old cat companion, will miss his “lap time” with Mother Sue.
Sue loved working in her flower gardens and spending time in her kitchen with old and new recipes.
The family would like to thank Ann Yow-Hunt, and all the surrounding neighbors for their extended love, joy, and friendship to Sue throughout the years.

Sue will lie in repose at Pugh Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm. A graveside “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon UMC Cemetery.
The service will be “Lived Streamed” on the Pugh Funeral Home Facebook page for those to watch that are unable to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Lebanon UMC-The Cemetery Fund, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC 27317 or St. Paul’s Museum, P.O. Box 1342, Randleman, NC 27317.
