Sarah Ellen East

Sarah Ellen Hughes East, age 75, of Asheboro left her earthly home to enter into her heavenly home on Sunday, June 29, 2014. She is survived by her two daughters: Donna Cole Bates of Carthage, NC; Dawn Presnell of Asheboro; two grandsons: Gary Cole and Scott McClintock; 4 great-grandchildren and two brothers: Harold and Gary Hughes. Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter: Maria Cagle and son: Phillip Presnell. A private family service will be held at Love of God Ministries Baptist Church and no formal visitation is planned. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the kindness and care given to Sarah by: Roberta Hatfield, Paula Williams and Shannon Housand over the last few months. They were a blessing.
