Sandra “Sandy” Frye Collinson

Sandra Frye Collinson, age 60, of Asheboro, passed away on  June 9, 2022.  
  
Sandy was born August 18, 1961 to Jack and Kathleen Frye.  She grew up in Hope Mills and attended UNC-Pembroke.  Sandy retired from Randolph Community College, was a member of Asheboro Business Women's Club and  a member of C-4 Church in Asheboro. She loved scrap booking, doing crafts and traveling to Asheville.  When she was young, Sandy worked for Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain and fell in love the North Carolina mountains.  

Sandy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marty Collinson and daughter, Morgan Collinson of Asheboro. 
  
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 12:30 -1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Arroyo officiating.
