Roxanna Smith Bryant

Roxanna Smith Bryant, 61, passed away peacefully at her home in Asheboro on May 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A proud graduate of Eastern Randolph High School, Roxanna went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Communications Media from Appalachian State University. She devoted her life to teaching and mentoring children, leaving a lasting mark on countless young lives through her passion for teaching, her deep love, and her larger-than-life personality.

Above all, Roxanna loved Jesus with all her heart, centering her life on serving and honoring Him. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to four children, and a passionate animal lover who shared her home with nine cherished dogs.

Roxanna is survived by her husband, Bill Bryant of Asheboro; her children, Connor Bryant of Miami, Tucker Bryant of Mebane, and Chloe and Madison Bryant of the home; and her brother, Elton Smith and his wife Patsy of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A service to celebrate Roxanna’s life and legacy will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro, NC, with Rev. John Voncannon and Rev. Anthony Cheek officiating. A private burial will be held.
