Ronnie Wayne Lippard

Ronald Wayne Lippard, 78, of Randleman passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Randolph Health. He was born March 27, 1948 to William Charles Lippard and Mary Lylton Amick Lippard.

Ronnie was beloved by his friends and family and will be missed by all who knew him, he especially loved his “Granny” Lippard. He proudly served his country in the US Army in the 173rd Airborne Brigade and during Vietnam in the 82nd Airborne Special Forces. Ronnie would often attend 173rd Reunions all over the world. His love of country was second only to his love of his family. Ronnie was an expert welder retiring from Gilbarco. A cowboy at heart, he loved riding and raising horses from early on. Ronnie loved serving his Lord and his church family at Providence Friends. His memory will live on with those he leaves behind.

Ronnie is survived by his children, Travis Lippard (Lana) of Randleman and Tara Prigge (Trevor) of Minnesota; grandchildren, Braxton Ray Prigge, Sophia Linda Prigge, Turner Wayne Lippard, Sadie Christine Lippard; brothers, Billy Lippard of Horse Creek, WY, and Terry Smith of McLeansville. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lippard and second wife, Nancy Lippard.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S Main St, Randleman. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Providence Friends in Pleasant Garden with Reverend Kevin Rollins officiating. Burial will conclude at Randolph Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the 4th Floor Nurses at Randolph Health for their care and compassion for Ronnie.
