Robert Arthur Wise

Robert Arthur Wise, age 85, of 1166 Skyline Drive, Asheboro died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at his home. Mr. Wise was a native of Camp Hill, PA, a graduate of George Washington University and an Army veteran of WWII. He was formerly employed with General Electric, a Golden K member and a longtime volunteer as a docent at the North Carolina Zoo. Mr. Wise was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Peterson Wise. He is survived by his son, Robert L. Bob Wise of the home; daughters, Robin Martinez of Denver, CO, Wendy Herstein of Bowie, MD and 7 grandchildren. No funeral services are planned. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
