Richard Leonard Brownell

Richard L. "Brownie" Brownell, 75, of Asheboro, formerly of Manchester, VT passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Richard leaves a wife, Roberta (Bobbie) Brownell of Asheboro; two daughters, Tracy Cook of Troy, NC and Peggy O'Connor of Littleton, CO; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Richard was a retired plumber and worked for Asheboro Recycling. He was an avid NASCAR fan whose favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. A visitation will be held at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 7pm to 9 pm with a Eulogy being held at 8 pm. Burial will be held in the spring in Dorsett, VT.
