Peggy Sykes Scott

Peggy Sykes Scott, age 83, of Asheboro died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Universal Health Care of Ramseur. Mrs. Scott was born April 9, 1938 in Randolph County to Clarence and Blanche Sykes. She was a member of Sunset Avenue Church of God and retired director of Neighbors Grove Daycare. She is survived by her husband, Willard F. "Buddy" Scott; sons, Danny Scott and wife Drema of Randleman, Douglas Scott and wife Tracy of Randleman; grandchildren, Ashley Scott, Travis Moore, Sabrina Scott; great grandchildren, Ebony and Sebastian Scott; sisters, Marie Caldwell of Asheboro, Carol Petty of Archdale; brother, Kenneth Sykes and wife Andrea of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
