Paul Preston Strider

Paul Preston Strider, age 76, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Strider was born in Randolph County on January 29, 1940 to Clarence and Bertha Hamilton Strider. He was retired from G.E./Black & Decker after 37 years of service. Paul was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. Paul enjoyed his yard work and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Ann Gray Strider and daughter, Debbie Strider of Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 7811 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Joe Edwards and Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
