Patricia Ann Jones Lamb

Patricia Ann Jones Lamb, age 74, of Randleman, North Carolina, passed away on September 17, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Patricia was born on October 22, 1951, to the late Pressley Jones and Ina Odell Jones.

A natural caretaker with a heart for everyone, Patricia was the center of her family. She shared 24 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Richard, and took immense pride in raising her daughters. Sunday dinners were a cherished tradition in her home, where she found great fulfillment in cooking for her children, twelve grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was deeply devoted to her family and always looked forward to having everyone together. Patricia also possessed a wonderfully playful sense of humor, often keeping her kids laughing with antics like playfully showing off her false teeth.

In her free time, Patricia enjoyed the thrill of finding a good deal at local yard sales and auction houses, as well as taking quick, relaxing day trips to the beach. She was a devoted Elvis Presley fan and spent many happy hours tending to her virtual farm on the Facebook game Hay Day. Patricia also had a rather humorous relationship with the neighborhood animals—for reasons she never quite understood, cats were absolutely drawn to her, even though the feeling was definitely not mutual.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lamb; her sisters, Gladys Lamb and Cathy McNeil; her brother, Sonny Jones; and her son-in-law, Shannon Dilldine.

She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Lamb, Amy Davis and her husband, David, and Melissa Dilldine and Wali; along with her twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
