Pamela White, 67 Pamela Arlene Linnins White, age 67, was taken from us – her family, friends, and loved ones -unexpectedly on Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was born to the late William Lester Linnins and Pauline Costella Wilson Linnins on 3 November 1951. She was one of eight children. Mrs. White lived in Orange Park, FL where she had just recently retired as Assistant Principal from Pine Elementary School in Middleburg, FL after a long career in education. Pamela was a member of Toastmasters and very active in her church, Hibernia Baptist Church, in Florida. In addition to her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her oldest brother, Darrel Linnins. Learning, traveling, and reading were Pamela's passion and delight. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, experiencing new things, and recently completed a cross-country adventure with her two sisters to visit California and her brother, Jerry, and his wife Avis. Additionally, she was an accomplished potter and writer. She loved teaching and working with her students over the years. She was a mentor, a friend, and a wonderful example to literally hundreds of teachers, administrators and school staff. She lived a life of purpose, made a significant difference in the lives of others, and cherished being a mother to her beloved son Rodger. She is survived by one son: Rodger White of St. Petersburg, FL.; sisters: Kathyia Cox of Julian, NC and Martha Linnins of Orange Park, FL; brothers: William Lester Linnins, Jr. of Ocala, FL., Gerald Randall Linnins and wife Avis of Suisun City, CA, Joseph Arnold Linnins of St. Petersburg, FL. and David Wayne Linnins of Asheboro, NC; many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 7394 Shiloh Road, Liberty with Pastor Jim Groome officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
