Norma Jean Farlow, age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Farlow was born in Randolph County on June 11, 1946 to Herman and Roella Hunt Farlow. She was formerly employed as a caregiver. In addition to her parents, Norma Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Anthony Farlow. Norma Jean was a loving mother and grandmother who always put others before herself. She loved to read and take care of others.
She is survived by her son, Danny Farlow of Asheboro; daughter, Kissiah Langley of Asheboro; grandchildren, Dylan Langley and Cassi Farlow; great grandchild, Gracelinn Kennedy; companion, Jerry Lowe of Asheboro; sisters, Margaret Butcher of Asheboro and Becky Freeman (Don) of Asheboro; and brother, Harold Farlow (Patricia) of Randleman.
Norma Jean's body will lie in repose on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10:00 am-12 noon at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Church of Asheboro Cemetery, 1530 Mountain View Church Road in Asheboro with Rev. David Hunt officiating.
