Mitchell Lee McPherson Former Randleman resident Mitchell Lee McPherson, 68, died August 15, 2021, at Brunswick Medical Center in Shallotte NC. Mitchell was born May 4,1953, in Asheboro, NC to Jack and Madie McPherson. A 1971 graduate of Randleman High School, Mitchell was voted the most valuable player for the Randleman High School Tigers baseball team. Mitchell was a former employee of Valspar Paint Corporation and retired from United Brass Works in Randleman. Retirement to most means Giving up work or stop working! Mitchell Mcpherson never retired he just worked for his family He moved to Oak Island where he built 2 beautiful homes. He enjoyed lots of time at the beach with his grandchildren and many sea gull feedings with his great grandchildren. He loved his long walks with his wife Eileen in Southport and many strolls on the piers with his 3 children where he was always at peace Many family conversations began with “Guess what my view is Today? And always ended with I love you! 10-4 Roger That!! Mitchell was a Loving Husband a Loyal Son and a Devoted Father. He was full of life, compassion and joy his motivation was contagious he was as genuine as they come with a heart of gold. He never let any one person in need go without. He touched many lives many families and many hearts. He loved his four-legged companions, Milo, Rascal, Molly and Daisey. His love for Baseball will be caught in many gloves for years to come and the knowledge that he shared of the Game will always be remembered. He would want everyone to remember some of his favorite pastimes that were conversation had and friends made at Betty Kitchen formerly Randle man Restaurant and many many talks in the dugouts and on the Sidelines and more car ride replays of the baseball games that you could ever image His family was blessed beyond riches in many other ways that no amount of money could buy! Left behind to carry on his Legacy is his beloved wife of 48 Glorious years, Eileen C. McPherson, daughters Danielle McPherson Stewart (Dusty) of Shallotte, Virginia Rich McPherson (fiancé Dale Miller) of Randleman, and son Dallas McPherson (Jennifer) of Georgia. Grandchildren, Austin McPherson, Breanna Ferguson, Makayla R. Smith (Grady), Mason Rich, Madison R. Maness (Johnathan), Reese McPherson, Knox McPherson and Bryce McPherson, Four-great grandchildren Brooklynn, Jace, Baylor and Graylon. Sisters Debby M. Beane and Lori McAllister (Jerry), both of Randleman, brother Gary McPherson of Asheboro; many nieces and nephews. The body will lie in repose August 19, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman. A private service will be held August 20, 2021 at 11:00 am but following the service all Family and Friends are invited to Randolph Memorial Park for Burial. Masks are encouraged Remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends.
