Mildred Caroline Powell Lineberry

Mrs. Mildred Caroline Powell Lineberry 85 of Randleman passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026 after a period of declining health. Mrs. Lineberry worked for almost 30 years at Sapona Manufacturing in Cedar Falls before her retirement. Family was very important to her, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook for the family, and it was "expected" to be at her house every other Sunday for a home cooked family meal. She loved flowers and especially Sunflowers. She was married to her husband Hurbert for 44 years. Mrs. Lineberry was a huge fan of Conway Twitty.

Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Roy Lee Powell, Barbara Ann Powell (Bennett) Poole, Mitchell Lee Powell, Treva Joyce Powell York She is survived by her husband Hurbert "Hub" Lineberry, children Billy Owens, Wayne Owens, Shelby Jean McNeill (Mark) and Aaron Lineberry (Kim). One brother James Stedman Powell and one sister Linda Ellen Powell (Bennett) Blackwell. Grandchildren Kennifer Owens (Marion), Ashley Bowman (Tanner), Corey McNeill, Ethan McNeill (Cara), Lilly Lineberry and Lincoln Lineberry. Great grandchildren Legend Knight, Maverick Alsbrook, Aspen Bowman, Luke Sawyer and Hazel Caroline McNeill

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Lineberry are planned for 1:00 pm Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Pugh Funeral Home, Eddie Pugh Memorial Chapel, 600 S. Main Street, Randleman, NC with the Reverend Charles Arnold conducting the service.  Visitation for Mrs. Lineberry will be prior to the service from 12:00-12:50. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Falls Baptist Church Cemetery, Cedar Falls, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in memory of Mrs. Lineberry to the Hospice of Randolph in Asheboro.
