Michael Scott “Little Man” Hulin, age 54, of Staley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 2, 2021 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Little Man was born January 9, 1967, the son of John Robert and Ruth Davis Hulin. Little Man was a very lively, caring, compassionate and loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He was a Christian man, obedient to his Lord and Savior letting his light shine. Little Man was the owner and operator of Hulin Trucking. He was a member at Shady Grove Baptist Church and loved going to the beach with his family. Little Man is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Davis Hulin.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Teri Hulin; daughter, Kayla Hulin (Cody) Williams of Randleman; son, Jarrett (Skylar Ferguson) Hulin of Staley; granddaughter, Oakley Williams; father, J.R. Hulin of Jackson Creek; brother, Mark (Kim) Hulin of Jackson Creek; and his fur baby, Aubie. Michael was also loved by seven nieces and one nephew.
Little Man will Lie in Repose on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 6853 Old Staley Rd, Staley. The funeral will be on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Stephen Duncan and Pastor Jody Harrison officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the MICU at UNC Chapel Hill, for the care and compassion for Michael and the family.
