Michael Keith Hilton, age 70, of Asheboro, North Carolina, passed away at his home on August 3, 2026.

Michael was born on November 21, 1955, in High Point, North Carolina, to the late Lester Hilton and Lorena Lambeth Hilton.

Michael attended Eastern Randolph High School and grew up in the Hilton Court community of High Point. He had a lifelong passion for golf and enjoyed spending time on the course whenever he could. He also had a deep appreciation for music.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army for 22 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class (SFC/E-7). During his military career, he served in both the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother, Violet Lambeth, affectionately known as "Nanny."

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Hilton; Jeremy's daughters, Zoe Hilton and Katelyn Hilton; his brothers, David Hilton (Judy), Scott Hilton (Connie), Sean Hilton, and Mark Hilton (Wayne); his sister, Linda Jessup; several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Mike Bray; and his faithful canine companion, Daisy.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Sammy Hunt for the kindness, support, and assistance shown during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
