Michael Jonathon Autrey

Michael Jonathon Autrey, age 47, of Wilmington passed away on June 29, 2023.

Mr. Autrey was born in Chapel Hill on December 14, 1975. He was formerly employed in the construction industry. Michael was a free-spirited, open-minded, high energy, and goofy man. He loved music, especially '70's and '80's rock-n-roll. His life was centered around his son Isaac and they enjoyed fishing together. Michael had a passion for softball and formerly played in many leagues.

He is survived by his sons, Chris Autrey of Greensboro and Isaac Autrey of Wilmington; and mother, Susan Autrey Rigg of Wilmington.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 10:30-11:45 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.
