Mehki Taheed Evans, age 21, of Concord, NC, gained his wings on January 15, 2025.

Born September 9, 2004, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mehki was the son of Michael Evans and Akeia Evans. He loved to cook, enjoyed traveling, and treasured spending time with his family. Mehki was a lovable young man who was always looking out for others and liked to stay busy. He also enjoyed making and producing music and graduated from Asheboro City Schools in 2022.

Mehki leaves behind his brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, and a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel, with Pastor Marcus Wall officiating.
