Maxine Sue Lakins White

Maxine Sue Lakins White, age 76, of Randleman passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. White was born on November 15, 1945 in Cocke County, TN to Henry and Hattie Wolfe Lakins.  She was retired from Jockey International and was a former Girl Scout leader.  In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Melvin Dean Millner, and her grandson, Matthew Millner.

She is survived by her husband, Mannie White; daughters, Lara Millner and Letha Spencer both of Randleman; grandchildren, Krystal, Jamie, and Christopher; great grandsons, Justin, Liam, and Carter; sisters, Shelby, Doris, Cathy, Debbie, and Cindy; brothers, Mike, Eddie, and Larry; and her little dog, Bambi.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.
