Mattie (Madlynn) Jane Shaw

Madlynn "Mattie" Edwards Shaw, 92, of Randleman passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Ms. Shaw was born December 29, 1931 in Wake County, daughter of William and Oma Pierce Edwards and was the 8th of 10 children. In addition to her parents, Mattie was preceded in death by husband Robert Shaw; siblings, Mary Blanche, Columbus Carson "Snipes", Lazzie Estelle, Rosa Bell, Hillery William, Joseph Samuel "Sam", Robert Lee "Knott", Rosa Mae "Dink", Oma Grey "Pete".

Ms. Shaw is survived by her children; Phyllis Younts, Rickie (Joyce) Privette, Tommy (Cathy) Privette, Arthur (Linda) Privette, Michael (Gloria) Privette, Linda (Harrison) McCampbell. 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 17 great great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Ms. Shaw will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St, Randleman 12:00- 1:50. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
