Mary Bullins Yow

Mary Bullins Yow, age 83, of Asheboro died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Cross Road Retirement Community. A private service will be held. Mrs. Yow was born in Asheboro on May 5, 1930 to William and Sallie DeHart Bullins. She was formerly employed with Acme-McCrary Corporation and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Lee Yow, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Underwood and her husband Danny of Greensboro, Phyllis Jones and her husband Jeff of Asheboro; sons, Douglas Yow and his wife Patty of Asheboro, Dwight Yow and his wife Lorraine of Asheboro; and 27 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Care Center at Cross Road Retirement, 1302 Old Cox Road, Asheboro, NC 27205 . Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the family.
