Marie Smith

Marie Wilson Smith, age 90, of Randleman died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Marie was a native of Forsyth County and was a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church in Randleman where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Marie also enjoyed traveling to the Amish country and Huntsville, Alabama. Marie loved animals and had a kind, sweet heart and was loved by many people. She is preceded in death by her 7 siblings and her beloved dog Prissy. She is survived by her husband: Harold Marvin Smith of the home; son: John Ashby Clore and his wife Cindy of Winston- Salem; 1 grandchild Jason Ashby Clore of Winston-Salem; step-daughter: Florence Smith and her husband Charles Guest of Greensboro; step-son: Harold Smith and his wife Jan of Concord; 4 step grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and Marie's cat Willie. The family will receive friends Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church, 3335 Wesleyan Rd., Randleman with Dr. Harold Thompson officiating.
