Lucina Martinez Trinidad, edad 72 de Asheboro, fallecio el Viernes, Abril 8, 2022 en UNC Hospital reunida de susseres queridos. Sus padres, Juan Martinez y Maria Estefana recibieron en este mundo a Lucina, Enero 1,1950. 

Era ama de casa y miembra de la Iglesia Catholica San Jose. Fue una guerrera de Dios al superar varios obstaculos. Lucina entrego amor infinito a cada persona que conocio y era una increible cocinera. Para su esposo, fue la mejor mujer del mundo! Era una adorable esposa, madre, abuela, hermana, y significó mucho para sus familiares y todos que la conocieron. Lucina será profundamente extrañada. 

Lucina fue precedida en muerte por sus padres: Juan y Maria; su hermano: Faustino; y sus hijos: Antonio Gabriel y David Gabriel. Deja en vida a su esposo de 53 años: David Gabriel Zarza, hijas: Angelica Gabriel, Irma Gabriel, Leticia Gabriel, Rocio Gabriel, y Maricela Gabriel; nietos: Patricia, Karina, Lizbeth, Sandra, Gerardo, Carlos, Diana, Omar, Monica, Andrea, Jennifer,  Gustavo, Karla, Marco, Isabel, e Ivanna; bisnietos: Melanie, Leonardo, Natalia, y Gael; hermanos: Lucía, Rosa, Miguel, y Celia; y numerosa familia y amigos. 

El servicio se llevará a cabo el Miércoles Abril 13, 2022 a las 4:00 pm en Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro con el padre Phillip Kollithanath oficiando. La familia recibirá a quien guste acompañarlos hasta las 6:00 pm.

Lucina Martinez Trinidad, age 72 of Asheboro, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 at UNC Hospital surrounded by her family.  Parents, Juan Martinez and Maria Estefana welcomed Lucina into the world on January 1, 1950.  

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a God Warrior having faced multiple challenges and managed to be successful during everything. Lucina provided endless love to everyone she met and was an amazing cook. To her husband, she was the best woman in the world!  She was a loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and meant so much to her family and everyone who knew her.  Lucina will be greatly missed. 

Lucina was preceded in death by her parents: Juan and Maria; her brother: Faustino; and sons: Antonio Gabriel and David Gabriel.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years: David Gabriel Zarza, daughters: Angelica Gabriel, Irma Gabriel, Leticia Gabriel, Rocio Gabriel, and Maricela Gabriel; grandchildren: Patricia, Karina, Lizbeth, Sandra, Gerardo, Carlos, Diana, Omar, Monica, Andrea, Jennifer, Gustavo, Karla, Marco, Isabel and Ivanna; great grandchildren: Melanie, Leonardo, Natalia and Gael; sisters: Lucia,Rosa, Miguel and Celia; and numerous extended family and friends.

A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Father Phillip Kollithanath officiating.  The family will receive friends following the Prayer Service until 6:00 pm.
