Linda Mae Boggs McDowell

Linda Mae Boggs McDowell, age 76, of Asheboro passed away on June 20, 2024 at Randolph Hospital.

Mrs. McDowell was born in Asheboro on May 31, 1948 to Charlie and Mildred Boggs. She retired from the textile industry after 40 years of service. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Storie and husband Daniel of Mooresville; grandchildren, Daniel, Sebastian, and Cameron; sister, Brenda; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Tommy Mikael officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Per Linda’s request, please do not send carnations for the service.
