Lillian Elizabeth Overton

Lillian Elizabeth Allen Overton, age 89 of Troy, NC passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Clapps Nursing Center, Inc. in Pleasant Garden, NC.  

Lillian was born in Montgomery County to the late Causey William Allen and Lula Russell Allen.  She was a graduate of High Point College earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education.  She was a 2nd grade teacher for 32 years at Farmer Elementary School in Randolph County.  She was a lifelong member and pianist for Macedonia United Methodist Church in Eldorado.  Lillian enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. 

Lillian is survived by her husband of 65 years, Max Overton; daughters: Lydia Bulla (Don) of High Point and Julie McCaskill (Tim) of Biscoe; grandchildren: Jessi, Gracie, Sara, Max, and Mary Beth.  In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her siblings, Lula Belle Finlay, Howard Allen, and Robert Allen.

Services for Lillian will be private.
