Leona Searls Mosher

Leona Searls Mosher, age 84, of Sophia died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Mosher was born June 20, 1936 the daughter of Norman Searls and Ida Baird Searls. Mrs. Mosher was born in Sempronius, New York and was a member of Randleman Church of God. She was formerly employed in textiles and enjoyed reading and crocheting. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ida Searls; and her husband: Howard Mosher. She is survived by three sons: Howard Mosher of Sophia, Vern Allcock of Asheboro and Jeffrey Allcock of Moravia, NY; three daughters: Candy Thompson of Asheboro, Melissa Thurston of Sophia, and Amber Wood of Archdale; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters: Virginia Deal of Johnson City, TN and Helen Bickham of Newton, ILL. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro.
