Leon Hoover Reynolds

. Leon Hoover Reynolds, age 88, of Autumn Care of Biscoe, formerly of Love Joy Road, Troy, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mr. Reynolds was born May 18, 1923, in Troy, NC, the son of Hobart and Tela Hulin Reynolds. He was a member of Long Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired self-employed lumber jack and a US Army veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Arlene Cranford Reynolds. He is survived by one daughter: Julie Reynolds of Troy; one stepdaughter: Judy Ward of Troy; one sister: Doris Davis of Greensboro; 2 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild. A graveside service with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard, will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Long Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 637 Capelsie Road, Candor with Pastor Larry Beaver officiating.
