Kittarath Silaphanh

Kittarath Silaphanh, age 68, of Mt. Gilead died Monday, December 17, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.

Mr. Silaphanh was born December 1, 1950 in Laos. He was employed by Troy Lumber as a Stacker for 15 years. He enjoyed yardwork, music, singing Karaoke but most of all loved his family and friends.

He is survived by three daughters: Sousavath Silaphanh and husband Boualiane of Mt. Gilead, Genthala Silaphanh of Mt. Gilead, and Sith Silaphanh of Laos; three grandchildren: Johnny Silaphanh, Rickey Bobo, and Kassidy Silaphanh; one brother: Moon Silaphanh. He was predeceased by sisters, Khamming Silaphanh and Khammieng Phandara, and brother, Bounleng Silaphanh.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM, in the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC.
