Kenneth (Ken) Hugh Lamb 79, Of Asheboro passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the early morning hours of Sunday May 18, 2026.  

Ken was born on February 19, 1947, in Asheville North Carolina to Charles and Fannie Lamb who preceded him in death. Ken was one of five children. Ken was married to the love of his life Carol Lamb for thirty-four amazing years. Ken spent much of his life as a truck driver. Ken loved traveling the United States while driving for himself. Ken was also known for being a man that could fix almost anything.

Ken is preceded in death by his two brothers and sister.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Carol. He is also survived by his two sons, Ricky Lamb and Joe (Sandy) Lamb. He is also survived by his daughter Donna Hunt. Ken is survived by his grandchildren, Riley Lamb, Katie Hunt-Evans, Sadie Hunt-Hill. Ken is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Ken is survived by his sister Sandy Roberts.

The Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 26, 2026, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel 437 Sunset Ave in Asheboro. A funeral Service will follow at 2pm. A burial will follow at Boone Family Cemetery at 1123 Boone Farm Rd in Asheboro.
