Karen Smyre

Karen Hill Smyre, age 62, of Randleman died Friday, March 2, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Karen was a native of Randolph County and a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church. She loved children and animals and enjoyed quilting. Karen is preceded in death by her father Daniel Hill.

She is survived by her daughter: Starla Tracey and husband Eric of Concord; granddaughter, Bellarose Tracey of Concord; parents, Bruce and Betty Ogle of Randleman; brother: Daniel Hill, Jr. of Randleman;; half sister, Barbara Garrou of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church Cemetery, 3335 Wesleyan Rd., Randleman with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
