Joseph Scott "Joey" Law

Joseph Scott "Joey" Law, age 39, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Law was born in Greensboro, NC on May 15, 1979 to Marshall and Deborah Kennedy Law. Joey was formerly employed with Harvey Fence Company and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, his paternal grandfather, James Law, maternal grandparents, Henry and Ozell Callicutt, grandfather, Junior Kennedy, and uncle, Ronald Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Loflin Law, son, Elijah Jude Law; step children, Haley Dalton, Brook Dalton, Nicholas Dalton, and Allison Dalton; father, Marshall Anthony Law of Asheboro; brothers, Charles "Chuck" Law (Susie) of Virginia, and David Law of Asheboro; paternal grandmother, Temple Law of Asheboro; aunts, Patsy Thompson (Ronald) of Asheboro, Gail Francisco (Tim) of Asheboro, Gay Trogdon, and Mary Ann York (Russell);  uncles, Larry Coble (Carol) of Asheboro, J.C. Coble (Vicky) of Florida, and Donald Law; and various nieces, nephew, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
