John Marshall Stott

John Marshall Stott, age 78, formerly of Greensboro, died Friday, September 10, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mr. Stott was born April 10, 1943 the son of William Hollis and Jean Kappel Stott.

John was a native of Durham, NC and a graduate of Grimsley High School in Greensboro. He attended UNC, Chapel Hill, served in the US Coast Guard and was a builder of custom homes in Greensboro for many years. John loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife: Debra Robertson Stott; son: John (Kris) Stott, Jr. of Wilmington, NC daughter: Tracey (Jay) Foscue of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren: Hollis and Sawyer Stott of Wilmington, NC; Meredith (Drew) Dunzweiler of Greensboro, NC; Quinn Foscue and fiancée Riley Clark of Asheboro, NC; Gilliam (John) Brewer of Asheboro, NC; and his Beloved Cat: Cookie.
