J. Jesús Velázquez Flores, de 71 años, de Asheboro, Carolina del Norte, falleció el 3 de noviembre de 2026 en su hogar,rodeado de sus seres queridos.

J. Jesús nació el 17 de junio de 1955 en México, hijo de los finados Francisco Velázquez López y Rafaela Flores Cruz.

Un hombre brillante, amoroso y profundamente bondadoso, Don Chuy fue el mejor padre que su familia pudo haber pedido.Poseía un espíritu valiente y demostró ser un luchador hasta sus últimos días. Tenía un sentido del humor increíble y siempre tenía lista una broma para hacer sonreír a los demás. J. Jesús era un hombre muy apuesto, y la gente constantemente le halagaba sus hermosos ojos. Los años nunca frenaron su vibrante energía, y quienes lo conocieron bien recordarán con cariño su fama de ser todo un galán hasta el final. Más allá de su encanto, tenía un corazón de oro puro; era la clase de persona que daría hasta la camisa que llevaba puesta para ayudar a alguien que lo necesitara, incluso si eso significaba quedarse sin nada.

Encontraba una inmensa alegría en reunir a la gente y siempre esperaba con ansias cualquier fiesta, especialmente la celebración de su propio cumpleaños, siempre y cuando pudiera estar rodeado de las personas que amaba. Cuando no estaba disfrutando de una reunión familiar, a J. Jesús le encantaba la emoción del casino, donde podía pasar felizmente el día entero. También era un gran aficionado a las caminatas, con una energía inagotable.

Le sobrevive su amada familia y muchos amigos que por siempre atesorarán su memoria.

La familia recibirá a familiares y amigos el domingo, 8 de noviembre de 2026, de 1:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. A continuación,se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre a las 2:00 p.m. en la Capilla Glenn "Mac" Pugh.

J. Jesus Velazquez Flores, age 71, of Asheboro, North Carolina, passed away on November 3, 2026, at his home,surrounded by his loved ones.

J. Jesus was born on June 17, 1955, in Mexico, to the late Francisco Velazquez Lopez and Rafaela Flores Cruz.

A brilliant, loving, and deeply caring man, Don Chuy was the best father his family could have ever asked for. He possessed a courageous spirit and proved to be a fighter until his very last days. He had an incredible sense of humor and was always ready with a joke to make those around him smile. J. Jesus was a strikingly handsome man, and people constantly complimented him on his beautiful eyes. Age never slowed his vibrant energy down, and those who knew him well will fondly remember his charming reputation as a ladies' man right to the end. Beyond his charm, he had a heart of pure gold; he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, even if it meant leaving himself with absolutely nothing.

He found tremendous joy in bringing people together and eagerly looked forward to any celebration, especially his own birthday, as long as it meant being surrounded by the people he cared about. When he wasn't enjoying a family gathering, J. Jesus loved the thrill of the casino and could happily spend the entire day there. He was also an avid walker with boundless stamina.

He is survived by his beloved family and many friends who will forever cherish his memory.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Glenn "Mac" Pugh Chapel.
