Jimmy Allen McClintock, age 80, of Pleasant Garden died Monday, July 19, 2021 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mr. McClintock was born March 29, 1941 the son of Hugh Van Cecil and Mary McClintock. Jimmy was a native of Randolph County and retired from Overnite Transportation Company with 30 years of service. He was a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church, loved to garden, fish and was a hard worker. Jimmy was a straight forward, to the point kind of guy, but would do anything for anybody. In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his brother, Larry McClintock and Calvin McClintock; sisters, Johnnie Barlow and Villa Weil.
He is survived by his wife: Pat Coble McClintock; son: Dwayne McClintock of Pleasant Garden;
His pride and joy, granddaughter, Natalie McClintock; sisters: Marie Byrd of Norwood, Jessie Mae Johnson of Troy, Linda Hudson of Indian Trail, Betty Stanford of Hickory, and Pricilla McClintock of Greensboro, brothers: Harold Gardner of Richmond, VA, Carl Gardner of Stanley and Hugh Van McClintock of Julian.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church, 3335 Wesleyan Rd., Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park,6504 Liberty Rd, Julian, NC 27283.
