Jerry Lee Turner, age 50, of Albemarle passed away on July 6, 2026 at First Health Montgomery Hospital.

Mr. Turner was born in Troy, NC on January 29, 1976 to Larry and Annie Coleman Turner. Jerry was employed with Alandale Hosiery. Jerry was a simple and funny man loved telling jokes, who loved working on cars. He loved all music, especially heavy metal and head banging. Jerry knew one speed and that was wide open. He had a soft spot for children and animals. He loved RC Cars and helicopters. Jerry loved his family and had a special love for his significant other, Angela.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his sisters, Linda Rodriguez (Francisco) of Candor, Gloria Gillis of Mt. Gilead, and Ellen Wood (Timmy) of Fuquay-Varina; and his significant, Angela Little of Albemarle.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 12:30-1:45 pm at the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street in Troy. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh-Troy Chapel with  Kevin Blue officiating. Interment will follow at Community Baptist Church in Candor.
