Jerry Nance

Samuel Jerry Nance, age 68, of Sunbridge Rest Home of Asheboro died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Benedict officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Nance was a native of Randolph County and life long member of Asheboro United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Aileene Nance, uncle, Paul Nance and aunt, Daphne Boone. He is survived by his uncle, Sherman Craven of Asheboro, NC; aunt, Veola C. Hanner of Asheboro, NC; numerous cousins and the many friends and acquaintances at Sunbridge Rest Home where he had lived since 1989. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2007 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The family would like to thank the nurses in the ICU at Randolph Hospital for all their kindness and support.
