Jean Hinesley Routh

Jean Hinesley Routh, 74, of Randleman passed away at Randolph Hospice House Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was born June 19, 1949 in Asheboro, NC to William Joseph Hylton and Rachel Davis. 

Jean was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved her friends and family, especially her fur-baby; a Shih Tzu named Lucy Rose.

Her family would like to give special thanks to her wonderful caregiver, Christy Stevenson. 

Jean is survived by her sons, Dwayne Hinesley (Penny) of Randleman, and Gary Hinesley (Jen) of Randleman; grandchildren, Joseph “Austin” Hinesley (Stephanie) of Sneads Ferry, and Jamie Hinesley (Raynae) of Randleman; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Conner, and Jayce; sister, Beth Hardin (Gary) of Randleman. In addition to her parents, William Hylton and Rachel Davis, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hinesley.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Randleman, NC. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Mark Wilborn officiating. Interment will be held at Randolph Memorial Park.
