Janie Ruth Poole

Janie Ruth Baldwin Poole, age 88 of Troy passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Alpine Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro, NC.

Ms. Poole was born on August 20, 1933 in Troy, NC to the late Maston R. Baldwin and the late Louise Russell Baldwin.

Janie worked for over 30 years in the textile industry, having worked in High Point and Winston Salem, and at Collins & Aikmans in Troy.

Janie is survived by niece Sheila Atkins (Johnny) of Troy along with several other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Poole.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC.  A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Church Cemetery, Shiloh Church Rd., Troy.
