Janet Kay Brower Lare

Janet Kay Brower Lare, age 65, of Asheboro died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem.

Mrs. Lare was born January 12, 1952 the daughter of Richard Dewey and Barbara Ann Carter Brower.

Mrs. Lare was a native of Randolph County and had an Associate Degree in Business. She was formerly employed with Klaussner Furniture and Black & Decker Mfg. Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a big hearted lady who would do anything to help others. Mrs. Lare was a strong willed, go-getter person that had a smile that would light up your day. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her father, Janet was preceded in death by her brother: Dwight Brower.

She is survived by her husband: Harry Lare of the home; daughter: Chance Harris and her husband Chris; son: Gavin Fields and his fiancée, Destiny Wolford all of Asheboro, mother:Barbara Ann Carter Brower of Asheboro; two sisters: Joyce Brower of Asheboro and Theresa Cline of Seagrove and brother: Dale Brower of Asheboro, NC; grandchild: Darius Marley; step-daughters: Stacy Hudson of Selbyville, DE and Tracy Brown of Milford, DE; step-son: Curt Lare of Bennett; step grandchildren: Hayden Lare, Trey Harris, Ashley Clifton, Paige Parker, Hunter Brown, Kyla Brown; 4 step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC.
