Our Beloved Matriarch & Grandmother Janet Luther Kenion left the shackles of her earthly body on May 20, 2022.
Janet was born in Asheboro NC on February 29, 1928 to Grant Luther & Lucy Arnold Luther. Janet was the third oldest of ten children. She was graceful, intuitive, loving and wise. Janet’s chosen profession, as a Nurse for over forty years, allowed her to serve others and create a life filled with happiness and memories for her family.
Alongside Janet in the heavenlies, she is joined by her parents; Husband Clyde C Kenion; daughters, Beth Andrea Kenion & Gina Brent Kenion; grandson, Matthew Joseph Kenion and six of her brothers and sisters.
Janet is survived her son Clyde Joseph Kenion; grandchildren, Brent Andrea Ibanez, Blair Alexandra Kenion & Joshua Branson Kenion; great grandchildren, Brianna Ariel McCoullough, Braeden Christopher Ibanez, Adriana Reese Hines, Andrew Cruz Ibanez & Ascher Valentino Ibanez; siblings Charles Luther, Michael Luther, Cara Jean Luther. As well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many family friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro with Brent Ibanez officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1120 Old Cedar Falls Rd., Asheboro.
