Janet Truax Allen

Janet Sue Truax Allen, age 68, passed away September 19, 2022 at Myrtle Beach, SC.
Janet was a native of Florida and enjoyed traveling, being in the water, shopping and her animals. It was a privilege to be a stay at home mom. She enjoyed cooking. Her country fried steak with milk gravy will live on at the Onion, as well as Andy's cole slaw that they tag teamed in preparing. She enjoyed her vacation with her family and was the inspiration behind Amanda's career. Janet touched many more lives than she realized and was the "school mom", the cool mom, the amazing mother and wife. She will be missed by many. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, David and Mildred Truax and her brother, Mike Truax.

Janet is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony (Andy) Allen; daughter, Amanda Allen of Randleman; fur babies, Bella, Pepper, and Elvis.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Rd., Asheboro.
